Alright, if you follow my Instagram stories you know I’m always listening to a podcast. Some people read, other’s love music, I am a self-proclaimed podcast connoisseur.*Pinky up” Ya girl doesn’t discriminate, I love all pods. I will close out every month with my top podcast recommendations. I find that each month I have a different series on rotation. Currently, I think I binge 4-5 shows at a time. I’m crazy, I know. I promise there will be something for everyone on here no matter your preference.

My January Pod Recs:

Motivational / Entrepreneurial Podcast

The Skinny Confidential: Lauryn Evarts-Bosstick is a woman who wears many hats. She’s a podcaster (obvi), blogger, vlogger, writer, content creator, etc. this woman DOES IT ALL! Lauryn cohosts this podcast with her husband, Michael Bosstick, who is a behind the scenes entrepreneur. I consume this podcast on the daily! Notably, they cover a variety of topics ranging from business advice to skin care tips. I would recommend this podcast if you are trying to succeed in your craft and or business and need that extra motivational boost. (Seriously they are timeless.)

True Crime Podcasts

Crime Junkie: Alright, if you’re a true crime fanatic this podcast is definitely for you. Hosted by Ashley Flowers and her long-time friend Britt, they cover cases of allllll types. (Murders, missing persons, serial killers, etc.) To explain, Ashley does a deep dive into her research to bring you all of the available details and they post pictures and links to their website so you can follow along. They cover different cases such as The Green River Killer, The Killer on the High Bridge, and so many other missing person cases. I’ll be honest, when I first started this podcast it was all I could listen to. I became paranoid every time I left the house. Is today the day I’m going to go missing?

Serial Killers: Okay, this one might be my newest favorite. I LOVE True Crime podcasts. This podcast goes in depth on killers such as Ed Kemper, BTK Killer, Craigslist Killer, and so many more! Each SK has a two episode slot. You’re able to find out all of the ins and outs of their mindset, murders, how they lived in their day to day life, and what ultimately happened to them. Due to this podcast my Google search history is a little crazy. I CAN’T GET ENOUGH.

As I mentioned before, I listen to such a wide range of podcast genres. I hope that you check back each month to see if there’s something you will be interested in. (I’m positive you’ll find something!) Let me know in the comments if you’ve listened, your thoughts, and any recommendations on things I should listen to!

I hope you enjoyed this!
